Gray Matter Tactical LLC (GMT) is cognizant of the fact that Registered Investment Advisors and Wealth Management Firms have clients with many different needs. The one thing their clients all have in common is the need for safety of principal and potential positive returns on their investments.

Our goal is to preserve principal and lower risk exposure and volatility while seeking long term total returns in the S&P 500 index. Our S&P 500 strategy monitors markets on a daily basis, allowing our clients to position themselves for the purpose of capturing opportunities. We maintain an instant exit strategy if markets become unpredictable.

Most firms invest with the assumption that the S&P 500 will continually rise over time, placing client monies in “buy and hold” portfolios and hoping the markets increase. Markets are volatile and do not always advance; often they decline. We do not believe that “hope” is a logical investment strategy. Our S&P 500 research strategy employs offensive and defensive strategies rather than simply “hoping” the markets will advance.

The bottom line is there is no reason to lose money when markets decline.
